Dr. Tihomir Novaković

Dr. Tihomir Novaković is currently employed at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, where he serves as an associate professor in charge of the statistical group of courses. He completed his undergraduate and master's studies (academic program: Agroeconomics) at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad. His doctoral dissertation titled: "Technical Efficiency Assessment By The Application Of A Stochastic Frontier Analysis In The Dairy Farming Sector In The Republic Of Serbia" was successfully defended at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.

In his scientific and research work to date, Tihomir Novaković has authored or co-authored more than 40 scientific papers in the fields of statistics, (agro)economics and biological research and has participated in numerous domestic and international conferences with topics from these areas. He has also been involved in a large number of domestic and international projects, where, in line with the objectives of the projects and the specifics of his expertise, he was responsible for creating questionnaires and the statistical processing of the results obtained, setting up and conducting biological experiments, conducting economic research, etc.

He possesses advanced knowledge in data analysis, relying on various software for statistical data processing (R, Python, SPSS, Stata, Eviews, Statistica) which he successfully combines with the necessary knowledge for creating and managing databases (SQL).
